Charles Powell

Charles Powell’s life is filled with remarkable memories, from his childhood amid the 1960s fight for civil rights in Mississippi to his 1980s midnight encounters with Soviet spies during the Cold War, life as a bodyguard for royalty, and working undercover in the War on Drugs.
Powell spent his 20s and 30s experiencing a level of danger that few men survive.

In recent years, he led the Mercy Movement, a clandestine organization dedicated to rescuing victims of human trafficking.

Today, Powell is a gifted writer, speaker and consultant. He is the founder of Dangerous Skills LLC, a consulting firm offering real-world expertise in the areas of personal security, branding and marketing.

Jody Pyles

Don’t let his good looks fool you. Beneath the surface, you will find in Jody Pyles the heartbeat of a champion. He’s held titles as state, national and world champion in karate, but he didn’t stop there. He took his skills from the ring to the streets, working as a police officer on patrol, a police defensive tactics instructor, and undercover. Pyles isn’t just an athlete, he’s a gifted singer-songwriter with fans who eagerly await each new performance and song.

In his time away from the spotlight, he is a highly skilled operator, using his expertise to free enslaved children in countries across Asia, Central America, South America and the U.S. More recently, he provided security for humanitarian efforts in Ukraine on three battle fronts.
In dangerous and dusty places around the world, Pyles is known as a friend to the many – and a champion to the forgotten few.
